Due to the frequent occurrence of safety accidents in factories in China, our factory organised a safety training on 8 April 2024 for all employees involved in the production and operation process, and signed a commitment to work safely.

Foundry industry is an important part of manufacturing industry, and safe production has always been an important guarantee for the development of the industry. Therefore, the development and implementation of ‘Casting Production Safety Standards’ to protect the foundry industry is important for safe production.

Casting Production Safety Norms is an important normative document for the foundry industry, aimed at regulating the production behaviour of foundries, protecting the personal safety and health of workers. The norms range from the safe operation of production equipment to ensuring safety measures at the production site and other aspects, covering the entire casting production process with safety requirements and standards.

Firstly, the standards require foundries to establish a sound safety management system, clear responsibility for production safety, and strengthen safety education and training to enhance employees' safety awareness and emergency response capabilities. Secondly, the specification requires foundries to be equipped with perfect safe production facilities and equipment to ensure the safety and stability of the production process. In addition, the specification puts forward specific requirements on foundry site safety measures, management of hazardous chemicals, protection against occupational diseases, etc., which provides clear guidance and standards for foundries.

For foundries, strict compliance with the Casting Production Safety Standards is not only a legal obligation, but also an important measure to protect the sustainable development of enterprises. Only by ensuring safe production can enterprises develop steadily and employees can work in a healthy manner. Therefore, foundries should attach great importance to the Casting Production Safety Standards, strengthen safety management and continuously improve production safety measures to ensure the sustainable development of the industry and the safety and health of employees.

Make rules as follows:

1．Preparation work before opening the furnace is done carefully, iron rods and grass ash must be prepared before opening the furnace.

2. The iron rod and slag picking rod used before the furnace should be preheated, otherwise they can not be used.

3. Furnace water package can be used only after drying.

4. Before starting the furnace, do a good job of safety inspection of various equipment such as motors, fans, starters, etc., by the workshop security officer is responsible for checking to ensure safety.

5. The bottom of the furnace must be well padded with dry sand.

6. The height of the liquid metal crucible should not be more than 90%, if it is too full, a single bag should be poured to a part.

7. The remaining liquid metal and slag at the bottom of the furnace must be flowed clear before preparing to hit the furnace.

8. Before hitting the furnace must first check the bottom of the furnace below the ground is wet, if wet must first lay a layer of dry sand before hitting the furnace;

9. Charging, charging the mouth of the following can not stand.

10. The material is not allowed to exceed the specified length and width of the hearth.

11. When melting metal, the iron furnace shell red if more than 100 centimeters in diameter or the bottom of the furnace red should be immediately reported to the shift manager or workshop leader to stop the furnace, repair before use.

12. When the furnace can not be stacked around the combustible flammable materials.

13. When the operation is finished, the fire must be extinguished before leaving.
